He also explains that a leader should be able to face a crisis, show devotion to the respected fields, and engage with a big number of audiences. In general, charismatic leadership means the ability of a leader to behave, communicate, motivate, and inspire followers in both basic and emotional ways.

To develop a charismatic leadership takes a long process. Motivating, persuading, and inspiring an organization to make a better change is the part of the process. Some other characteristics need to pin down for being a good leader. They are:

1. Extraordinary communication

One of the characteristics a charismatic leader needs to have is the ability to build direct communication in one to one or in a group setting. The skill in communication is essential because it will enable you to motivate and inspire the subordinates to do the best in their job through times.

2. Compassion

Being compassionate is another charismatic leadership to establish. Charisma will fit with compassion because those qualities will enable a leader to show his integrity, passion, fortitude, value, and honesty.

Maturity is another quality that a charismatic leader must possess. The powerful leadership will show the maturity by drawing on the knowledge and wisdom they have. They will gradually appear when you are in business experiences over the years. In result, you will be able to behave in responsible and mature ways when it comes to making an important decision.

5. Confidence

Being confident is another quality to look for from a charismatic leader. He will meet many people from many backgrounds. By being confident, he will stay as he is and feel comfortable and secure. Confidence will lead a leader to understand himself to do well and will never change to be anyone else.

6. Listening skill

Love to listen to employees’ concerns in empathy are important to make a change in an organization. Therefore, a charismatic leader should be a good listener. He should pay attention to and engage in conversation.

7. Positive body language

Imagine that if you meet a warm, open, and charismatic leader with positive body language. It will bring and build up the convenience of the work atmosphere. A leader should have positive body language through eye contact, warm smile, and genuine joy. The employees will feel comfortable and do their best at work.

Having a charismatic leadership style leads to some pros and cons. A charismatic leader will do a change to society. However, some organizations that carry on processes, rigid structures, and function won’t fit this style. Here are some pros and cons of this leadership style.
